SUMMARY: Direct and coordinate production related activities that support the Company’s strategic goals and objectives, including such activities as: departmental goals, manufacturing disciplines, training, coaching, safety, and organization.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Conduct daily meetings with all Shift Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers, PEs, Quality Lead, and Distribution Manager/Supervisor.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all departments within the IRIS organization.
- Communicate and ensure that production employees are aware of and follow all company objectives, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Maintain a smooth production operation while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Monitor and maintain the 5’s housekeeping program. • Work directly with employees to develop their skills in all areas of the production operation.
- Work closely with production schedulers to make sure that all the required products are scheduled to run at the right time, and all the required materials are available.
- Monitor the inventory of all production supplies i.e., molded and imported parts boxes, pigments, and resin.
- Work with Production Planning Clerk to make sure that all the inventory discrepancies are fixed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Process Engineers, Raw Materials, and Mold Maintenance to assure that all machines and molds are running efficiently at all times.
- Monitor the day-to-day results of added value and molding cost to make sure that all the shift supervisors are working to achieve the departmental and company goals.
- Work closely with the Quality Control Department to maintain the highest quality standards for all of our products.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in business management or a technical and related field.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Knowledge of:
- Previous responsibilities should have included scheduling, technical, raw materials, inventory management, training, and safety.
Skill in:
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid strategic planning, communication, and presentation skills.
- Leadership skills with the ability to work with and lead a team.
- Good computer skills. Previous experience with word, excel, access, power point.
