Category Manager – Storage & Organization Division

IRIS USA, Inc., a leading consumer home and office plastics, cookware, LED lighting and pet products manufacturer, is seeking a Category Manager for Storage & Organization Division, interested in working in the Marketing Department in our Surprise, AZ (a suburb of Phoenix) facility. This position will telecommute from a home office or in temporary office space in the Phoenix area until moving in the new building next spring/summer.

The Category Manager develops, manages and implements strategic marketing initiatives to maximize sales of assigned product categories. Candidates must be a strong team player and work well with others; must have a high degree of creativity and the ability to develop new products for retail customers; must have excellent written communication skills and presentation skills; must have solid strategic planning and analytical skills; must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be highly detail oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Office – word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

A Bachelors’ degree, preferably in Marketing, is required. An MBA is a plus. Three to five years of category management, product management or channel management in the consumer goods industry is required. Retail buying experience in Home categories will be considered. Knowledge of plastic injection molding manufacturing process is a plus.
